
August 5, 2025โThe School of Healthcare Education (SHE) of Mountain Province State University (MPSU) is currently having a capability-building workshop on syllabus development for its faculty members to strengthen their alignment with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and student-centered learning principles at Coffee and Lemon Cafรฉ, JBA Bldg., Samoki today.
The activity, held as a regular initiative at the start of every semester, aimed to equip faculty members with the tools and mindset necessary to create harmonized syllabi that not only meet national standards and licensure requirements but also foster academic excellence and real-world readiness among students.
The activity was graced by University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue with his presence and a message where he emphasized the importance of standardized syllabi in providing quality education to the students. โOne of the most powerful tools we hold as educators is the syllabus. This is more than a document; it is a blueprint. It communicates to our students, This is what you will learn, why it matters, and how you will grow,โ underscored Dr. Cue.
Said activity will run until tomorrow, August 5, for the critiquing of the faculty outputs.
