Administration Conference Hall— The School of Teacher Education from the Universityโs Bontoc, Tadian, and Paracelis campuses kicked off a two-day capacity-building workshop on syllabus development today, 19 August 2025.
This activity is in response to the need to improve the schoolsโ curriculum design and implementation through the creation of outcome-based, contextual and relevant syllabi. It also ensures that all syllabi are aligned to the new Vision, Mission, Primary Goals and Objectives (VMGO) of the University.
In a message delivered in behalf of the University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, VP for Research Development and Extension Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang emphasized the importance of a well-crafted syllabus, describing it as a โstudentโs compassโ that identifies learning outcomes and expectations and a โmirror of quality assuranceโ that reflects the Universityโs VMGO into the classroomโs actual practice.
Said activity was attended by faculty members of the Schools of Teacher Education from Bontoc, Tadian and Paracelis campuses. It will end tomorrow, 20 August 2025.
