Key officials Dr. Epiphania Magwilang (VPRDE), Dr. Geraldine Madjaco (VPAA), Dr. Brent Greg Gomuad (Campus Director of the Tadian Campus), Dr. Arel Sia-ed (Campus Director of the Bontoc Campus), Atty. Dexter Lingbanan (CAO) and Dr. Jeth Chua represented the University on behalf of University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue. Their attendance demonstrated the University’s leadership’s cooperative approach to expanding opportunities for professional and educational growth. As the University President stated on one occasion:

โ€œThis milestone, which occurs in our first year as a university, is significant and timely. The MPSUโ€™s decision to become a CPD provider marks the start of closer ties and collaborations with experts and industry partners. It showcases our shared commitment to instruction, research, development, innovation, and service. Because we are united and working as one community with a common goal of excellence, we can achieve this,โ€ PEGC stated.

After the award ceremony, the PRC Regional Director held a fruitful discussion with the officials about potential training and programs that may be carried out in collaboration with MPSU. The conversation created opportunities for cooperation in developing programs that will benefit professionals across various disciplines, ensuring that continuing education remains accessible and relevant. RD Domogen congratulated the MPSU team on their concerted efforts to enhance quality education through continuing professional development programs. Indeed, she mentioned that:

“We are looking forward to working with you to create high-quality programs and training that will raise educational standards in a variety of board disciplines. By means of this collaboration, we can guarantee not only the production of quality CPD programs but also the efficient execution and significant use of these initiatives for the benefit of all stakeholders,โ€ the RD stated.

The two organizations decided to prepare a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as soon as possible to formally establish their relationship, which came to a successful conclusion. It is anticipated that this partnership will open the door to creative and inclusive CPD initiatives that will advance professional excellence in addition to benefiting the Mountain Province State University.#
