The first MOU focuses on Job Placement Services, strengthening the employability of MPSU graduates and students by linking them to labor market opportunities. The second agreement supports the BSBA Departmentโ€™s extension program, particularly the Enhancement of Livelihood and Business Skills (ELABS) initiative, designed to equip communities with entrepreneurial competencies and sustainable livelihood practices.

This collaboration is firmly anchored in the vision of DOLE, which is to promote decent and productive employment for every Filipino worker, and the new vision of MPSU, which is to be the unique university for highland coffee, culturally rooted and globally recognized. By aligning these mandates and aspirations, the partnership highlights a shared commitment to building sustainable livelihood opportunities, fostering employability, and empowering communities in the highlands.

Present during the ceremony were DOLE-CAR officials, including Regional Director Imelda E. Romanillos, CESE, Assistant Regional Director Atty. Olivia O. Obrero-Samson, Provincial Director of DOLE-Mountain Province George G. Lubin Jr., and Mylene M. Palaleo, Livelihood Focal Person of Mountain Province Field Office. Representing MPSU, the university president Dr. Edgar G. Cue was represented by Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, together with Dr. Elvin P. Rosario, Dean of the School of Accountancy, Business Education, and Technology, and Dr. Megan R. Matias, Program Chairperson of Business Administration.
