September 17, 2025—To enhance teaching and learning practices, the Mountain Province State University’s (MPSU) School of Accountancy, Business Education, and Technology (SABT) held a syllabus preparation workshop today at the Administration Conference Hall.
The workshop focused on aligning the curriculum with evolving educational standards, particularly through the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It also introduced the importance of using secure digital technologies, like the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI), to ensure the integrity of academic transactions.
MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue delivered a message emphasizing the workshop’s significance. “This workshop is envisioned as a concrete step in that direction. Anchored to our sustainable development goals, it seeks to empower us with the knowledge and tools necessary to elevate the quality of instruction while fostering collaboration and innovation,” PEGC said.
The initiative is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to building a culture of excellence and preparing students to become ethical professionals and leaders in their respective fields.
