During the two-day event, various topics and workshops were conducted by the resource speakers. Dr. Delia Lorena B. Dalmacio, Guidance Counseling Coordinator from Tadian, led discussions on strengthening the role of faculty and staff in mental health support. She emphasized the importance of early intervention and collaboration among university departments. Additional sessions covered psychological testing, workplace mental health, and the integration of spirituality in mental well-being, with contributions from psychometrician Ms. Charmaine Ayesha D. Pisilen and Rev. Fr. Marcial Lloyd C. Castaรฑeda. Additionally, other sessions included discussions on supporting students with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts, which was presented by Ms. Michelle C. Doss, Director of the Gender and Development Unit. Ms. Doss emphasized the importance of a gender-sensitive approach in addressing these challenges.

In the message of University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, which was delivered by Mr. Aaron Fakat, President Cue urged the faculty members and staff to become โ€œsafe spacesโ€ for the students. โ€œLet us be advocates, allies, and anchors of support for those who are silently struggling,โ€ he added.

Said initiative marked the continuous efforts of the University in promoting safe spaces and mental health awareness for all its stakeholders.#
