Highly regarded accreditors from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) evaluated the following programs: Master of Arts in Education (Level III, Phase I-Revisit), Bachelor of Elementary Education-Bontoc (Level IV, Phase II-Revisit), Bachelor of Science in Forestry (Level III, Phase I-Revisit), Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Level III, Phase I-Revisit), Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Level III, Phase II-Revisit), and Bachelor of Elementary Education-Tadian (Level IV, Phase II).
Vice President for Internationalization, Planning, and Information Management, Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan welcomed the accreditors, task force members, and university officials on behalf of University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue. In the welcome message delivered on behalf of Dr. Cue, Atty. Lingbanan extended his gratitude to the accreditors for accepting the task of evaluating the programs. He also commended the task force members, internal accreditors, and university officials for their dedication and collective efforts in support of the Universityโs commitment to continuous improvement.
โWe welcome the feedback that will be provided, as it will help us grow stronger, become more responsive, and stay aligned with the dynamic needs of society,โ he added.
For the entire duration of the accreditation, the accreditors will be browsing the documents and audio-visual presentations prepared. They will also be conducting interviews and Q&A sessions with University stakeholders and/or taskforce members. On the other hand, the taskforce members will be presenting their areas to the accreditors for assessment.
AACCUP is an accreditation body that provides program and institutional accreditation services to higher education institutions through competent assessment anchored on national and international standards towards cultivating a culture of quality assurance. It assesses the areas including Mission, Goals, and Objectives; Faculty; Curriculum and Instruction; Students; Research; Extension and Community Involvement; Library; Physical Facilities; Laboratories; and Administration. For programs accredited for level 3 and below, all ten areas will be accredited. For Level IV, accredited areas include the mandatory research and extension, and two other programs chosen by the program.

Domingo, Dr. Irene A. de Vera, Dr. Ruth C. Cordero, Dr. Divinagracia M. de Guzman, Dr. Annalyn J. Decena, Dr. Sonia B. Siago, and Dr. Consuelo J. Estigoy.
The three-day accreditation is facilitated by the Institutional Quality Assurance, headed by its director, Ms. Collins F. Lidua.#
