The programs slated for accreditation were Master of Arts in Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education-Bontoc, Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Bachelor of Forestry, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and Bachelor of Elementary Education-Tadian.
In his impression, Dr. Carlo F. Vadil, overall coordinator for MPSU-Bontoc, commended the administration and the taskforce for their hospitality, cooperation and exceptional commitment to the spirit of excellence and service. “It was generally successful,” Dr. Vadil noted.
Although he also noted that the online survey limited the accreditors on direct engagements. “Let us see this process as an opportunity for growth,” Dr. Vidal concluded.
For MPSU-Tadian, Dr. Filemon A. Pamittan, overall coordinator for MPSU-Tadian and for BS in Civil Engineering, BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Forestry coordinator for October 8-10, commended the active participation of the University community in improving its program offerings. โAccreditation helps the University not only to maintain quality instruction, or services but to identify areas for improvement,โ Dr.Palino quoted.
โYou did well, above and beyond to make sure that our accreditation is seamless,โ he added.
Dr. Pamittan also lauded the strong administrative support which is evident to the activities of the programs accredited, as well as the very impressive work attitude for the taskforce members.
In addition, Dr. Rommellen G. Ramos, overall coordinator Of BS in Environmental Science for October 6-7 accreditation, encouraged MPSU- Tadian to sustain its strengths and continue promoting a healthy working environment and collaboration.
For Library, the accreditors commended the use of information technology in enhancing its services, but also advised for expanded networks and partnerships.
Recommendations for improvement to all the programs accredited were also presented by the accreditors.
Meanwhile, in his Statement of Commitment, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by IQA Director Ms. Collins F. Lidua reaffirmed the Universityโs commitment to โsustain the culture of excellence, to institutionalize continuous quality assurance, and to nurture an environment where innovation and cultural identity coexist harmoniously.โ
โThe results of this survey visit will serve as our mirror and our map, helping us recognize our strengths, address our gaps, and refine our paths forward,โ he added.
