The event began with a detailed lecture on syllabus development by Dr. Rhoda B. Galangco, Director for Curriculum and Instruction, which was followed by the ongoing interactive curriculum workshop where the faculty members are collaboratively reviewing and refining the course contents, learning outcomes, and teaching methodologies.
This initiative is part of a larger, University-wide effort to streamline and harmonize curricula across all colleges, ensuring that academic programs remain relevant, cohesive, and aligned with the institutionโs and national standards of educational excellence.
Meanwhile, in his message during the event, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by MSPU-Bontoc Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, emphasized the importance of updating the Hospitality and Tourism Management curriculum to reflect industry changes, prioritize sustainability and cultural values, and prepare students to become leaders and responsible professionals in the field.#
