Said initiative further supports the Collegeโs commitment to providing a well-rounded and effective educational experience to the Universityโs stakeholders.
To begin with, Engr. Rogie P. Lantion, the College Dean presented the COEโs goals and objectives for critiquing. Dr. Fely B. Akilith, the Director for Libraries later presented the library resources and discussed the policies on syllabus reference. Dr. Rhoda B. Galangco, the Director for Curriculum and Instruction then tackled on integrating peace education and culture in the syllabi. A workshop followed afterwards.
Describing the harmonization workshop as a โshared framework and common languageโ for a singular goal while enabling growth and specialization, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by VP Dr. Gerladine L. Madjaco, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, further noted that โits more than a matter of administrative alignment.โ
โThrough these, we are ensuring that every engineering student, regardless of their chosen proram, is equipped with the same essential core competencies, professional values and ethical grounding,โ he added.
Said activity will end tomorrow, 28 October 2025 with the presentation of and critiquing of the outputs of the workshop.#
