MPSPC kickstarts weeklong general student orientation; New students from BS Crim, BAPS oriented


The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College through the Student Services and Development Office, held the first batch of its general student orientation for new students from the School of Criminal Justice and Liberal Arts today, 12 August 2024, at the College Auditorium.

379 freshmen, transferees, and returning students were oriented to the College policies and concerns. In pursuit of providing quality and inclusive education, students were also introduced to various management and support services that MPSPC offers, including academic, administrative, health, security, and extracurricular, among others.

In his inspirational message, College President Edgar G. Cue stressed the importance of remembering one’s dream and purpose in entering college life. β€œAs your college president, my honest advice to you is that, as you sail on your studies, don’t settle for the ordinary; instead, I urge you to challenge your beliefs and perspective,” he added.

Similar orientations will be respectively conducted by the School of Teacher Education (Bontoc campus), School of Healthcare Education, School of Accountancy, Business and Technology, School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management, School of Engineering, School of Teacher Education (Tadian campus) and School of Agriculture and Forestry until 16 August 2024. Following each general orientation, a departmental orientation is being conducted.
