Various resource speakers from the Philippine Army, the University, and the Tri-Bureau presented and discussed topics with the students. These include Major Balaram S Tamayo, INF PA for Combat Leadership and Mental Toughness for any Career; Dr. Mark Preston S. Lopez for Preparation and Writing of Resume and Application Letter and Communication Techniques for Job Interviews; Ms. Michelle Doss for Gender and Development in the Workplace; Tri-Bureau representatives for Recruitment and Selection Process for Uniformed Personnel; and Dr. Claire Kaplaan P. Lafadchan for Professional Telephone Etiquette.

During the event, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by MPSU-Bontoc Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, emphasized three important reminders for the OJT students. First, he reminded them to always be teachable because “the workplace is a different classroom.” Second, he also stressed the importance of staying professional, and lastly, he stressed the crucial role of being value-driven.

“Represent MPSU with excellence, with dignity and with a heart that seeks to grow and contribute,” he added.

Said pre-employment is a must requirement for OJT students to attend to before they graduate from the academe.
