Tadian, Mountain Province โ€” In response to the impact of Typhoon Uwanโ€™s onslaught, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue personally visited the Mountain Province State University (MPSU) – Tadian Campus to assess the extent of damage and ensure the safety and well-being of the campus community, today, November 11, 2025.

Accompanying the University President were Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan, Vice President for Internationalization, Planning, and Information Management, along with other MPSU personnel.

During the inspection, Dr. Cue and the administrative team conducted a thorough evaluation of classrooms, laboratories, offices, and surrounding areas affected by the typhoon. They also met with campus officials and maintenance personnel to discuss immediate repair needs and long-term mitigation measures to strengthen the campusโ€™s resilience against future natural calamities.

The inspection highlights MPSUโ€™s dedication to responsive governance and its continuous effort to uphold educational excellence, even in the face of challenges brought by natural disasters.
