Through this activity, MPSU showed its commitment to gender equality, inclusivity, and community-based development.
In addition, the training was carried out under MPSUโs extension projectsโGALANCIA (Generating Assistance for Livelihood Advancement and Nurture Community Income Acceleration), SANG-GAP (Sowing Agribusiness in Neighborhood Grounds to Gain and Amplify Progress), and TRAINER (Transforming Rural Areas Through Innovative and New Extension for Resiliency). These projects aimed to provide participants of all genders with practical skills in processing plant-based food products such as veggie meat, sausage, and lumpia, together with basic knowledge in product development and marketing.
This initiative helps promote inclusive livelihood opportunities, support local food processing, and encourage the production of safe, affordable, and nutritious community-made products for income opportunities, stronger community resilience, and sustainable development.
