Under the theme “Innovate, Advocate, Transform: The Nurses’ Blueprint for a Changing World,” the event highlighted the vital role nurses play in advancing healthcare through innovation and advocacy.
Notably, Dr. Georgina P. Maskay and Ms. Lea L. Pancho-Ongan presented key research aligned with the conventionโs goals. Dr. Maskayโs systematic review on hospital-acquired infections in the Philippines offered evidence-based strategies to reduce infection rates, addressing critical challenges in healthcare settings. Ms. Pancho-Onganโs bibliometric analysis highlighted the importance of transcultural nursing in strengthening cultural competence within nursing education, advocating for culturally sensitive training to better serve diverse populations.
Presented through an interactive poster session, their research sparked meaningful discussions and collaboration among attendees.
