It’s a wrap for now. As the semester comes to a close, students and instructors of Dalhousie University of Nova Scotia, Canada and Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) now Mountain Province State University (MPSU) are exchanging report cards with each other as the concluding activity of their semester-long Collaborative Online International Linkage (COIL).
The MPSU team headed by Dr. Obie Noe Madalang of the Tadian Campus turned over the Agro-forestry and Engineering students’ reports summarizing everything they learned and shared with their international counterparts focusing on food transportation, food preservation, food shortage and production.
The Dalhousie University students, on the other hand, under the supervision of Dr. Kathleen Kevany turned in their full-length reports on the status of Mountain Province’s agricultural sector zeroing in on the abovementioned subjects.
The COIL project was made possible through the coordination of the university’s Linkage Director, Dr. Karen Cue and her Dalhousie University Counterparts, Dr. Lana Bos and Dr. David Parks.
The COIL sessions were held mainly through online video conferencing and through Messenger App of Facebook aside from documentary exchanges via email.
