Dr. Cue Reviews and Supports Special Projects at Research Meeting


University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue attended the Special Projects meeting and monitoring initiated by the Research Development and Extension Unit held at the 5th floor of the Administrative Building today, September 2.

The purpose of the meeting focused on presenting the current status of the projects to Dr. Cue, whereas there are four (4) projects presented, which are as follows: “ClimaPestDetect Project,” presented by Mr. Hyacinth Dioso; “Production and Biodiversity Conservation of Wild Tea Plants in Mountain Province,” presented by Dr. Lichelyn Nasungan; “Bamboo Industry Development for Environment Conservation and Countryside Post-Covid Economic Boom in Mountain Province,” presented by Mr. Diarh Gabutan; and “Harnessing Sustainable Practices and Technologies for a Secured and Resilient Montañosa,” presented by Mr. Karl Marx Golocan.

Dr. Cue expressed his strong support for the said projects and suggested creative remedies to the problems encountered by the researchers. Further, he also shared experiences that can inspire and push them to further their agricultural innovations to greater heights.
