𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐒, 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞— In a significant step toward agricultural modernization and sustainable energy use, representatives from the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) recently conducted a high-level site inspection of the ongoing Solar Power Irrigation Project (SPIP) located at the Mountain Province State University (MPSU) Paracelis Campus in Bacarri.
The visitation was led by Engr. Luke Bibat of NIA, who provided a technical assessment of the construction progress. The coordination meeting and site tour were witnessed by key university official, including Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance and PMO Engr. Sony A. Maitang. The collaboration between NIA and MPSU underscores a shared commitment to rural development. For the university, hosting such a project reinforces its role as a hub for innovation in the Mountain Province. For NIA, the partnership ensures that technical expertise is paired with institutional support to guarantee the long-term viability of the irrigation system.
As construction continues, both parties remain optimistic that the project will soon be fully operational, transforming the landscape of Bacarri into a more productive and energy-efficient agricultural zone.
