The University’s Executive Council, composed of College Deans and Program Chairpersons, recently convened to address key academic and administrative priorities in preparation for upcoming institutional milestones.
Central to the discussion were faculty clearance and the timely submission of grades to ensure smooth end-of-term processes and uphold academic integrity.
The Council also conducted a thorough review of course offerings and faculty loading for the next term, ensuring alignment with program requirements and equitable distribution of teaching assignments, while identifying faculty needs and recommending the engagement of additional personnel where necessary.
The implementation of a compressed work week was likewise revisited, with considerations on its impact on productivity, service delivery, and faculty welfare. Preparations for major university events, including In ICHOS, the Baccalaureate, and Graduation Exercises, were emphasized to ensure organized and meaningful conduct. The Council also provided a venue to raise and address midterm concerns, promoting responsive and timely solutions, and highlighted the importance of engaging process writing participants to strengthen documentation and institutional practices.
Said meeting concluded with a shared commitment to collaborative governance, continuous improvement, and the delivery of quality education and services.
